Frosty Swiss Blue Topaz Drop Earrings – In Time for Christmas!
Icy blue frost is the best way to describe colour typical of swiss blue topaz. And our client had wanted to gift this pair of earrings in time for christmas. What better colour represents christmas than that of swiss blue topaz?
Our client was after simple drop earrings and was not so keen to have the topaz overshadowed by too many diamonds. He was also more inclined towards a simple, fuss-free and modern style. Hence, we decided on the pyramid-styled studs at the top which nicely complements the tear-drop topaz on the bottom.
Mesmerizing light-medium blue sapphire engagement ring
A very attractive light medium blue sapphire makes it difficult to say no to this engagement ring.
Our client was searching for a beautiful light to medium coloured blue sapphire flanked by relatively large side diamonds (though not quite a 3-stone ring setting).
This sapphire (almost 4 cts) is very well-cut with all facets reflecting the right amount of light, it leaves no part of the sapphire dull nor dim. Simply mesmerising lustre and brilliance in this unheated light/medium blue sapphire makes this piece a one-of-a-kind engagement ring. Loupe clean with even colour throughout makes this unheated sapphire rare in today’s market.

Deep Ocean Blue Sapphire Ring (Heated)
There is romantic appeal in such a deep mysterious shade of ocean blue sapphire. And surprisingly, this sapphire ring is not unheated. Yes, Heritage Gems does have access to heated sapphires as well.
Though heated, this particular shade of blue is not what one would typically see at a highstreet/mainstream jeweller. It is unique deep mysterious blue. Our client said “I feel calm when I see this colour”.
Heated blue sapphires normally offered at your mainstream jeweller are usually an intense, almost bright blue shade. Some would describe these shades as somewhat artificial looking.
Again, one of the main reasons why we do what we do. We are passionate about colours. Coloured sparklers are intimately fascinating. Vivid Blue Sapphire Ring (Unheat)
For blue sapphire purists, below is a ring that should catch your eye. **Pls note that unheated blue sapphires of this colour quality is very difficult to come by.
While our client was not quite sure what to expect prior to meeting us, she knew she was looking for an unheat sapphire of exceptional colour. Apart from this, she also had other requirements for the design of her ring. She did not want any diamonds, “just the blue sapphire” she said. During out meeting, she pre-empted us that she had specific design requirements that other jewellers either could not or did not want to assist with. Either way, they were not able to provide her what she was looking for.
Below is her blue sapphire ring. Unheated, vivid blue, 2.34ct ceylon sapphire ring. Most brilliant colour. & definitely very difficult to chance upon this colour.
Swiss Blue
The blue topaz is a December birthstone. Apart from the blue topaz, other december birthstones include tanzanite, blue zircon and turqoise.
