A unique colour-change sapphire. A blue sapphire with hint of sea green in daylight which shifts to purplish red in incandescent light. Though heated, this is definitely a sight to behold.

Set in a duo-tone 18K yellow gold and white gold setting, with diamonds aligned in a lotus-flower setting, this engagement ring is a feminine, remarkable beauty.

This is the feedback from our client, who had never actually seen the stone in person during the decision making process. But with the help of a very dedicated fiancé and sister, we were able to create her dream engagement ring.

No one said that diamonds were a necessity in creating your perfect engagement ring. And that was the wish of this client, who wanted a simple, romantic design which they could call their own.

The devil is in the construction and detailing of this ring. Unlike the typical construction of a ring that uses at least 2 or more separate pieces/parts of gold to create, this ring design uses only 1 long strip of intertwining gold. This symbolises the love between 2 people; and for each other. There is no breakage nor joining of gold in the construction of this ring design. It is a simple, organic and very clean look for this unheated sapphire ring. After all, the intensity of this royal blue sapphire speaks for itself.

Our client who had first customised her unheated sapphire engagement ring with us had subsequently requested a 2-piece stackable diamond wedding band in 18K Rose Gold. This stack allows the bride to wear them singly or together on one 1 finger or one band on each finger.

The groom-to-be had requested for a truly unique wedding band. Looking for a design that reminds him of a river stream and more importantly, preferring a raw, organic look.

Set in a industrial, raw, and unpolished natural gold finish; this wedding band is truly a one-of-a-kind design. As the groom says “no matter which direction I turn my ring, no two facets are the same. So everyday, I see something new. It is truly a unique piece.”

Every element of this entire engagement-cum-wedding band set is 100% natural and borne out of Mother Nature. From the alloy used to create the natural gold band, to the diamonds and finally, the unheated, untreated sapphire.

Being able to wear one’s engagement ring together with the wedding band seamlessly is a beautiful affair.

We are honoured and had the pleasure of handcrafting this beautiful seamless wedding band set for a very special couple.

This exceptional unheat sapphire is almost 3 cts, in a tinge of blue just slightly darker than a medium electric blue. This blue can be described as cobalt blue. Well-cut and properly faceted means that one is able to see the many facets of the sapphire, even after it has been mounted onto the ring.

Below: When the wedding band is slipped through the finger, it sits seamlessly with the engagement ring, and with no gaps in between both rings. This effect is typically achieved if the request is made with your jeweller right at the onset of customising the engagement ring – that you would wish for your wedding band and engagement ring to sit together seamlessly.

There is something soothing about looking into the green of an emerald. In a class of its own, wearing an emerald ring instantly lends class and sophistication to its wearer. Typical of colombian emeralds, the glow of green is a very soothing, calming deep green.

Emeralds are usually heavily included. Hence, finding one that is as eye-clean as possible such that it does not impede on the lustre of the gem can be tricky and difficult.

Our client wanted to set a colombian emerald in a beautiful vintage style setting, set in 18K white gold. Truly pretty!

A very attractive light medium blue sapphire makes it difficult to say no to this engagement ring.

Our client was searching for a beautiful light to medium coloured blue sapphire flanked by relatively large side diamonds (though not quite a 3-stone ring setting).

This sapphire (almost 4 cts) is very well-cut with all facets reflecting the right amount of light, it leaves no part of the sapphire dull nor dim. Simply mesmerising lustre and brilliance in this unheated light/medium blue sapphire makes this piece a one-of-a-kind engagement ring. Loupe clean with even colour throughout makes this unheated sapphire rare in today’s market.
